Author's Note: Written as part of the Parting of the Ways Ficathon for kharma2815, who wanted the line "It may only be small, but it's what you do with it that matters", Jack trying to flirt with Mickey, and a happy ending. Hope a hopeful ending will suffice. Huge thanks to my betas, particularly natmerc. Contains very mild spoilers for "The Christmas Invasion."

This fic was beyond incredible. You did such a fantastic job of integrating Ten into Rose's life. I could actually hear DT saying these things. And your Rose is spot-on as well -- her grief, her confusion, her newfound understanding of the Doctor -- it was all there.

Everything from the fuchsia Cracker hat(snort) to the dance scene at the end was all beautifully written.

I laughed, I cried, I was in awe. Well done. :)

Oh, that was sad, and beautiful, and hopeful. A lovely post-series story. Thank you.

The Doctor, still wearing a bright fuchsia paper hat from a cracker, took his tea with two sugars and smiled back at her.

Your precog powers are amazing. "fuchsia paper hat" How'd you know clear back in August. *grin*

Hadn't seen this one before. Very nice. Loved the wake.

Nice job handling Rose's reaction to losing both 'her' Doctor and Jack.

Loved the Doc pointing out the anachronistic music selection, too. *snicker*

This was very well done. I like the back and forth on the narrative between what's going on and the more introspective bits.

Beautiful writing. You handled this marvellously, and I only wish they'd done something like this one the show. :(

Memming for sheer awesomeness.
