I like this meme. I am doing this meme.
Stoled from fan_eunice:

If you were asked to pick one scene, one shot, one detail, one moment of some kind out of all the things I've made and say "This, this, for whatever reason, I remember, this is something that struck home with me, that I wanted to keep," what would it be?

I would say it's your McCoy/Chapel manip with Rosamund Pike. That was one of my first introductions to reboot!McCoy/Chapel and it was glorious.

Yays! I miss them; I need to get caught up on fic.

"Cognitive Dissonance". One standing beside Pike as he's telling her how gorgeous she is and... touching her in this way that's intimate and erotic and frank but not crude, and all the thoughts going through her head, the decision she's poised on the edge of for all that she thinks it's Hobson's choice. The two of them even as dark reflections, in that moment.

I don't know if this properly counts as a shot/moment/scene but it's certainly a detail: Paradigm Shift is where I first encountered Cait Barry, and I decided to keep her. :)

YAYS! If you haven't read Vulcan's Glory where she first appears, I can't recommend it enough.

The bit in your Due South minizine where Fraser critiques the last episode. I have never forgotten that, and it always makes me laugh.

I think your Mark Harmon as Boyce icon, because I had the same idea myself.

Although, in my head sometimes he's still Richard Dean Anderson.

I would like to reiterate what rubynye said, that moment in Cognitive Dissonance is tense and fantastic and sort of encompasses all the complexities of that verse in an instant. Scary but alluring. It definitely stuck with me.

Also in Nick of Time, as Number One says 'Don't stop' and the moments before they get interrupted. For me that scene and the push and pull of being so close but not crossing the line sums up so much about them and the difficulties of getting the relationship off the ground. The whole fic has pretty much been adopted into my head canon.
