help me, flist-wan-kenobi, you're my only hope.
So if someone not in the UK wanted to play the flash games on the BBC Doctor Who website, how might one do that?

I just tried them and they don't work for people in Illinois at least. :)

There is a way to reroute through a proxy to make it look like you are from an acceptable region. Google "reroute through proxy" and there are a number of ways of going about it. Throw "BBC" in there as well and it gets a little more specific.

The adventure games don't work for me. Also, hiya! My doll posts are all at scarydollperson.

Nah--I don't pay a licence fee, so the BBC have every right to keep me from playing games. But I'll check BBCA and SyFy, and see if they have the content mirror'd. In the meantime, I gave friend a proxy link.

As you prolly know, you'd need some way to indicate your IP address was from the UK...unfortunately, the only IP masker I know (which is legal), is US-based.

Barnaby from DWNY actually was just telling me about how he does it this weekend. If you have his email, you can ask him!

i am torn between sort of wanting these to exist and being glad that random bbc webdesigners have not made them.
