You know, I was going to say something along the lines of 'you are my new favorite person'...

...but then I remembered that it's nothing new.

I had a bunch of these just waiting on my desktop, and have been waiting next to phone for to do phone interview and saved out the rest to kill time. And now I want to do MORE OMG. I capped a ton of "The Cage" and there needs to be more Boyce in the world, you know?

All of these are awesome, but I think 17, 22 and 23 are the funniest. And 8, 38 and 40 are schmexy. (Though I must confess: I've always preferred Colt.)

Was amused before by the bit in 47, and still am, but at the rate things are going, I can certainly imagine a 23rd century where ethnicity is almost completely decoupled from family and/or given names (except for traditionalists). Heck, a mere four decades ago, putting women/blacks/a Russian on a starship's bridge was considered slightly radical...

clarification: claiming none, just commenting.

Have you heard? Pocket Books is doing a Pike and Number One book in 2010! :D

"The Children of Kings" by Dave Stern
Set on Christopher Pike’s Enterprise (including Spock and Number One), the book focuses on the Orion Syndicate, a dying girl and the kidnapping of a Starfleet officer. This is Dave Stern’s first TOS novel (if you don’t count his 1994 Captain Sulu audio adventure “Transformations”). Stern has written four Enterprise novels, and is a big classic Trek fan and former Star Trek editor for Pocket Books.
