For them what are interested: I have pimped my fave small fandom, Gosford Park, at [info]smallfandomfest.

Also, I am taking another interest poll on a potential Gosford Park ficathon at [info]gosfordpark.

C'mon, we need something to write between remix and yuletide, right? You know you wanna.

There is not enough GP fic.
Please update with additional links in comments, and new links will be added to the list.

If you have written Gosford Park fiction, please consider archiving it at The Land of Might Have Been.

Because I rewatched it this week, here is a list of all the Gosford Park fic I've been able to ferret out - updated January 2008 )

I am thisclose to making a teeny tiny GP site, just because it is THE MOST AWESOMEST THING EVER and I have a folder full of notes from last spring when I went GP crazy. Then I am reminded that I still owe [info]calapine a Master/Lucy site. And Claudia an author site. And, erm... So maybe 2008. Eventually.

Tis the season for yuletide recs!
Bordertown
Changelings
Feels exactly like a missing scene from _Finder_.

Bourne Identity (Damon film series)
Behavioural Software
This is just gorgeous--captures the feel of the films, and Nicky's character perfectly.

Dexter (tv series)
Brother's Keeper
Lovely in-character look at Harry trying to control the future, and give both his kids a chance.

Forever Knight
Afterimage
Brilliant Nat, and just an excellent look at her and Nick, and their future.

Gosford Park
Of Letters
I can see this so clearly--gorgeous, gorgeous look at such a delicate relationship built on might-have-beens.

Almost Home
This is the story I have wanted for so long, and it's exactly what I needed.

Jake 2.0
Every Day Feels Like Sunday
This just absolutely breaks my heart.

Jem
Superbowl Showdown
Yays my gift! There is just not enough Lin-Z fic in this fandom.

Mairelon The Magician
Foreign Liason
Gorgeous gorgeous Renée and Kim. Just a lovely light touch with both the characters and the situation.

MirrorMask
With Tremulous Cadence
Beautiful Helena and notValentine, post-movie.

Spooks
Not to Fear Infinity
This just nails all the characters--particularly Ruth, and the dialogue is superb.

Sunshine
Hands and Heart
This feels like it was lifted straight from the novel.

Sneakers
Exercises in Latitudinal Thinking
I LOVE THIS STORY LIKE PIE. Seriously.

RIP Robert Altman.

Gosford Park is one of my all-time fave movies, and he seemed so utterly nifty, I am sad there will never be another Altman movie.

Remix/Redux IV is up!

HUGE thanks to [info]musesfool for once again going to all the massive amount of work to run this. Like [info]yuletide, it's become quite a multi-fandom fic addicts dream, and we're lucky to have such insane dedicated peeps out there.

One of my Firefly stories got remixed (no real shock, as I tend to write for flat out obscure fandoms and to date, 3 out of 4 of my remixed stories have been Firefly since I wrote a ludicrous number of stories in than fandom thanks to [info]ff_friday), and I love how it takes the abstracts from the original, and grounds them with dialogue and perfect little details. So check it out.

Home (Float On)

In other news, [info]xica_s has reintroduced me to the joy that is Clive Owen, and I just watched Derailed, which is a lovely little noir thriller that makes me want to go read Double Indemnity again. Tho I did giggle when David Morrissey showed up (making me wonder if the interiors were done in the UK, and only the exteriors in Chicago, with so few actual Americans playing Americans in this film).

I so need to have a Clive Owen marathon one of these days. And I can't remember now why I don't actually own King Arthur. Or, for that matter, the uberspecial Sing City disc. and I still need to update my fanfic site with my Sin City fic.
